Peanuts with red skin are whole peanuts with their natural reddish outer layer intact. This thin skin is rich in natural antioxidants and gives the peanuts a slightly deeper flavor compared to fully blanched peanuts.
Because the skin remains on the kernel, red skin peanuts retain more of their original nutrients and provide a more traditional appearance in many food products.
